About Marmora Massage
Where does the word Marmora come from...
Marmora means "Marble sea" or as the ancient Greeks called it Propontis (Greek: Προποντίς). It is the inland sea that connects the Black Sea to the Aegean Sea separating Turkey's Asia and European lands. The ancient warriors used the sea as a rehabilatation and relaxation spot for their war-torn muscles and battle wounds.
It seemed appropriate to use the name of the street where the studio is to represent a place to come to refresh, renew and relax from the every day stresses that we experience in today's modern world.
Marmora Massage is based on the belief that our customers' needs are of the utmost importance and is committed to meeting those needs by having only skilled Licensed Massage Therapists. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals.
